Vodafone India has launched its SuperNet 4G service in Coimbatore and Tirupur in Tamil Nadu, announces a release from the company. The 4G services will be expanded to other towns and cities of the state by March 2017. Built on 2100MHz band, Vodafone SuperNet 4G can be accessed on a wide range of devices including Mi-Fi, and dongles. Vodafone promises a super fast internet experience with features such as HD video streaming, mobile gaming, and two-way video calling.

As a launch offer, Vodafone offers free SIM upgrade to 4G with 2GB data on every 4G SIM upgraded. An immediate upgrade is promised at multiple touch points. The price of the packs starts at Rs. 8 for 30 MB and extends up to Rs. 999 for 22 GB. The subscribers can also get free three months access to Vodafone Play, thereby access to more than 150 television channels, 10,000+ movies, videos, and music.
